The Technology of FAR Infrared Sauna

People have historically focused on saunas when thinking about healing and relaxing. But what exactly is a sauna? A sauna is a room or enclosure where a person is exposed to a degree of heat that does not burn but relaxes the body. There are different types of saunas. Conventional saunas utilized an electric stove or a wood stove, along with rocks, to produce enough steam that will heat the body of the sauna user. The newest type of saunas, however, uses infrared radiation. There are regular infrared saunas and there are more sophisticated FAR infrared saunas. What is the difference between the infrared saunas and the FAR infrared saunas? To understand what a FAR infrared saunas is it is important to understand how it is defined.

The infrared spectrum of radiation that is released by the sun is composed of numerous rays with varying wavelengths. The shorter are the wavelengths, the nearer they are to visible light and the more energetic these rays can be. Traditional infrared saunas utilize heaters and heat lamps that produce such infrared rays.

FAR infrared saunas utilize infrared rays that has longer wavelengths, weaker energies, and farther from the visible light. Is weaker energy better than higher energy? When it comes to solar radiation, the weaker energy wavelengths are safer. The ultraviolet rays are dangerous because they have high energies. Infrared rays are safe because they have weak energies. In hospitals, the FAR infrared heat is used for newborns.

FAR infrared saunas, to produce the desired rays, use ceramic and other metals to heat the rooms. There is no steam produced and this is why the only moisture in the room is the sweat coming out of the skin. Without steam, the skin will sweat more. In this manner, the FAR infrared saunas are similar to sunbathing. Only radiant heat is found but the muscles are heated vigorously.

On further scientific investigations, it was discovered how FAR infrared saunas work. Inside FAR infrared saunas, rays are produced to duplicate the healthy vibrations of the cells and the ailing or weak cells are invigorated. This duplication is called resonant absorption. When the majority of the cells have healthy frequencies, the tissue begins to heal and the toxins are ejected. Some toxins are released together with the sweat while other toxins are redirected to the excretory system so that they are removed from the body later with the urine and feces.
